Hi there!

Yes I know, we're lousy bloggers...we have'nt posted 1 single post since Kaya was born...hehe.. so this blog got a bit out of sync from our little piggy's first adventures in this world. Anyway to make up for it we're going to spool out a few posts in one go...kind of a few snapshots in Kaya's last two months squeezed into 2 or three posts.

The photo on the left was taken during Kaya's first week. How Angelic! (didn't think that during the first two nights though ;p )

Our Little Piggy a.k.a Kaya is finally with us!!!

Hi there,

Long time no post. Since the last post we have been succumbed in lots of preparation work for the big day which has finally arrived at 20:20 on Thursday January 24th 2008!! In other words, our little piggy is finally here with us. Her name is Kaya. Actually we had thought about this name a long time ago and we both agreed upon it since the beginning. Of course we liked (and we still do) refer to Kaya as our little piggy. Well she will always be our little piggy.
Two weeks before her birth we were thinking about the possibility of her being born a week or so later than due date and hence elapsing the year of the pig and entering the year of the mouse. We would then have had to stop calling her out little piggy or who knows perhaps call her our little guinea pig!!! LOL!!!

Anyway, above is a short footage of Kaya a few minutes after being born. Enjoy :)

"Hey hey...I'M IN HERE!!!

Still have some space left to move around. My mum says I move a lot. Well that's because I do my own excercises everyday just to keep fit for the big day. If I counted well that's somewhere around three months from now. You know, I have to be prepared to my first big appearance!! :) . Daddy talks to me everynight but sometimes he is knackered and he just knocks himself into sleep after 5 minutes from touching the matress! Huh...I need some more attention here ok? A little bit of encouragment!

Anyway hope everyone out there is doing fine. Hang on and wait for me a bit more cause little piggy will be out soon! until then lots of kicks and kisses xxx"

The First Piggy Post

Hello Everyone,

We are Rui and Gilbert, little piggy's parents :) !!

Being the first post we would like to introduce you (present and future viewers) to this blog.
We thought that since a blog was intended to be an online diary, we naturally decided to use a simple little blog to keep fresh our memories when days go by and little piggy grows faster and faster....(and kids do grow very quickly)!!

We would like to share our moments of happiness and expectations with friends and family while keeping good memories frozen in time for us to look back time after time in the future.

But enough about us since this blog is about little piggy ;)

We will put forward some pictures for keepsake during the first moments of our little piggy and hopefully have some spare time to keep posting once in a while as she grows older (yeah right you must say!).
